How it Works

FAQ

Orders & Shipping

How long will my order take to arrive?

We begin processing most orders within 1 business day. Production and curing typically take 2–5 business days. Shipping time depends on the service you select and your location. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes. Expedited options are available at checkout if you need your order faster. Please note that production and curing times still apply.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes, once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow your package’s journey.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide! 🌎 Shipping rates and delivery times vary depending on your country and carrier. All costs will be calculated at checkout.

Do I need to pay customs or import duties?

For international orders, customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Do you offer bulk, OEM, or artist discounts?

Yes! We love working with artists, bands, and brands on larger orders. Bulk pricing and OEM opportunities are available, as well as special artist partnerships. If you’re interested, please contact us to us and we’ll be in touch to discuss details and make sure you get the perfect setup for your needs.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

We can only accept changes or cancellations before production begins, since each piece is made to order. If you need help, please contact us as soon as possible using the support form below.

Customization

What file types do you accept for artwork uploads?

We currently accept the most common formats: PNG and JPG. These work best for clean, high-quality prints. If you’re unsure about your file type, just upload your artwork and if there’s an issue, we’ll reach out with suggestions to make sure it comes out perfectly.

Can you match specific colors?

Yes! Our customizer lets you enter HEX codes, so you can match exact shades if you already know them (e.g., #FF5733). If not, you can also use our built-in color picker to explore and choose what looks best.

Please note: due to our specialty inks and finishes, colors may not print as a 100% exact match but they’ll come out very close to your chosen shade.

Can I preview my design before ordering?

Yes! Our website allows you to upload your artwork and preview it directly on the hardware before you place your order. This way, you can see exactly how your design will look and make adjustments until it’s just right.

Can you make knobs or parts for other instruments or devices?

We’re constantly exploring new types of hardware, but the best ideas come from our community. Your suggestions help shape the future of Custom Strums™, and we take every request seriously. Use our Product Recommendation Form to share what you’d like to see next, and you might just influence our next release.

Care & Durability

Are these knobs easy to install?

Yes, all of our knobs are designed to be simple, drop-in replacements for standard guitar hardware. In most cases, it’s as easy as removing your old knobs and pressing the new ones on.

Do I need special tools?

Usually, no tools are required. However, if your instrument uses set-screw style knobs, a small screwdriver or hex key may be needed. Everything else is plug-and-play.

Are the knobs water, sweat, and heat resistant?

Yes, all of our knobs are sealed with a durable resin that’s designed to handle everyday use, including sweat and normal playing conditions. They can withstand typical room and stage heat levels without issue. However, we don’t recommend prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme heat, or submersion in water, as this may reduce longevity.

Are the knobs scratch-resistant?

Yes, they’re built to handle normal play and daily use. However, like any clear surface, excessive abrasion or contact with sharp objects may cause marks. Treat them with the same care you give the rest of your instrument for best results.

How should I clean my knobs?

For routine cleaning, gently wipe the knobs with a soft, damp microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive materials, as these can dull the finish or damage the resin surface.

Can I use cleaning sprays or guitar polish on the knobs?

We recommend avoiding harsh cleaners, polishes, or solvents. A soft, damp microfiber cloth is all you need to keep them looking fresh.

How long can I expect the knobs to last?

Every Custom Strums™ knob is made with high-quality materials and resin designed to withstand years of regular play. With normal use & proper care, your knobs should look and perform great for the lifetime of your instrument.

Returns & Warranty

Do you accept returns?

Because each Custom Strums™ product is made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once production has begun. Please double-check your artwork, customization, and order details before submitting.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes! We stand behind our craftsmanship with a 6-month manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If your knobs have any issues within this period, please contact us for a replacement or repair.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty applies to defects that affect the function or appearance of the knob due to how it was made (for example: adhesion issues, resin flaws, or printing errors). It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

How do I make a warranty claim?

If you believe your product has a defect, please contact us for a replacement or repair.
